RULES

Games will begin promptly at the scheduled start times. Please arrive at your fields early and be ready to play.

Each team must have at least 3 females in the batting lineup, and no more than 3 males can bat in a row. Each team must field 10 defensive players with at least 3 females on the field.

Home teams for all games are predetermined by the schedule. See the Home vs Away column. Away team bats 1st. For playoffs home team is determined by coin flip between team captains.

For all games, no new inning shall begin after 45 minutes of game time, and all games will have a hard stop at 55 minutes, however umpires may use discretion to finish an inning if scheduling time permits.

If an inning is started but not completed due to curfew, the score reverts to the previous inning. If the home team takes the lead in the last inning (past curfew), the game ends immediately.

All games will be a maximum of 7 innings. There is a cap of 5 runs per team per inning, except in the last inning where unlimited runs are allowed. Mercy rule is 15 after 4 and 10 after 5.

Home run rule +1 (Hitting home runs past the limit results in a dead ball and 1-base awarded to the batter. Runners advance only if forced).

Legal pitch will be 6 - 12 feet.

All batters will start with 1 ball 1 strike count.

3 courtesy runners per gender, per game.

If a male batter is walked on 3 straight balls (1-1 count) when a female batter is batting next, he will be awarded 2 bases and the female will have the option to hit or take first base.

The Semi Finals and Finals will have no new inning after 45 minutes, but there will not be a hard stop time on the final inning.

Base runners who step on home plate will be called out. Baserunners simply need to cross the scoring line. Runners cannot be tagged after crossing the commit line. 

Sliding will be allowed in order to help prevent injury caused by sudden stops at bases.

Playoff Seeding Tie-Breakers will be decided by (in order): Head to Head Result, Runs Scored, Runs Against, Coin Toss.

NSA rules will apply and will be enforced by the umpires.
