On September 17th, 2025 the 8th Annual Tristan Kettles Memorial Softball Tournament (T.K. Cup), will be held in honour of our late colleague.  Tristan passed away far too young on September 8th, 2017, at the young age of 25, when he was tragically involved in an off duty motor vehicle collision which took his life.

Cst. Tristan Kettles lived an engaging and adventurous life. He was highly respected and loved by all who knew him. Tristan truly exemplified the spirit of teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to his work, family, and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

Tristan was a beloved member of the Peel Regional Police, first starting his career as a Cadet and soon after graduating the Ontario Police College to become a Constable at 11 Division in Mississauga, where he served proudly for 4 years.  Tristan was well known service wide for his volunteering spirit, his unmatched work ethic, and his friendly but distinctly unique personality and quirky sense of humor.  Tristan had served as a member of the Peel Regional Police Pipe Band, and volunteered countless hours to numerous causes supported by Peel Regional Police.  He will have a lasting legacy on all officers that were fortunate enough to work alongside him.  He was a highly valued member of our Police service, and he is fondly remembered by so many colleagues, family, and friends that love him and miss him.

The T.K. Cup will serve as an opportunity for those that loved Tristan to gather together every year to remember and share stories of a truly great person, colleague, and friend.
